How should you deal with the busyness of everyday life? And with the busyness in your own head? Like more and more children (and adults), the four characters in this vibrant family show suffer from stress. One is constantly putting on different clothes because she doesn’t know what suits her. Another, from nerves, eats chocolates all the time. Behind the set, daily life rages on. Panting, the turned-up characters come crashing in through two doors. On stage it is quiet, you can relax there. But when the stress is in your body, you can’t. So away are the stress chickens again.

With humor, expressive acting and poetic texts, these Flemish theater artists depict the “burnout” world that can overwhelm today’s children. The busyness of their characters is recognizable, but also absurdly magnified. Together, the stage characters search for ways to escape the stress. What comes out of your insides when you finally come to a stop?
