The performances at Festival Tweetakt are made for children. By people who are no longer children themselves. But what would children come up with if they were the writers and directors?
Youth theatre makers Jeroen van Arkel and Mats Hoogland are very curious about this. They asked five children aged 9 and up to write a short theatre scene, and to direct it themselves. Jeroen and Mats, the actors who will perform the scenes, support the children in this process.
During Tweetakt, all the scenes will be performed. It will be a real premiere! With a host, Zenzi Alwart, who interviews the creators after each scene. So: come and see what the children have come up with.
Jeroen van Arkel, Mats Hoogland and Zenzi Alwart are all young theatre makers who will each present their own productions at Tweetakt this year.
