Visual art
In and around Fort Ruigenhoek you can find various interactive art installations.
Indoors, the artworks relate to the raw fort bunkers, and outdoors to the hilly natural surroundings and the moat around the fort island. On the fort island, visiting art is an extension of play. Children can move freely between the artworks. See which artworks are on display this year.

Children’s party
Where better to celebrate your children’s party than at Fort Ruigenhoek? We provide the decorations, will you join us on a festive treasure hunt around the fort? During a guided tour, you will learn all its secrets. And of course, there is plenty of room to play! There are pedal horses, a swing carousel, a silent children’s disco and art that is not only to look at, but also to touch.
No party is complete without crisps and lemonade, so they are our treat! They come in a special Tweetakt picnic basket, which also includes fruit, lemonade and a small gift for the birthday child. And if you feel like it, we invite you to top your own pizzas and pancakes.

Costs: from 10 children: €12.50 per child, 2 supervisors can join for free.
(Fewer children is also possible, costs on request).
For more information, please contact Cijn Prins at horeca@tweetakt.nl.

Workshops
We offer unique workshops in true Tweetakt style, so with theatre and other creative expressions. Ideal for team building, but also suitable as a communication training or for a visit with your theatre sports club.
And the content? We create that together with you, fully tailor-made.

Our workshops include: a picnic lunch and a guided tour of the fort, including a visit to the interactive art installations.
If you would also like to attend a performance before or after, we can look together at what fits and offer tickets at a reduced rate.

Costs (from 14 people): from €750 for half a day.
For more information, please contact Elles Leferink at e.leferink@tweetakt.nl.

Food and drinks
At the fort we are happy to delight you with our delicious menu. Whether you are a foodie or just looking for something tasty to snack between performances, we have all kinds of dishes for you to enjoy. Think of tasty sandwiches (fancy some rendang or veggie Korean chicken?!), pancakes and make-your-own pizzas. Or grab a Domtoren ice cream from GooDoo or a refreshing lemonade from Roze Bunker. In the morning, The Mobile Bar is ready with coffee and cake!

Picnic
Fort Ruigenhoek is, of course, the perfect picnic location! Go in search of your favourite spot at the fort with a well-filled Tweetakt picnic basket. The contents will remain a surprise for now, but think of items such as lemonade, wine, crisps and tasty nibbles. You can order and collect the basket from the bar on the day itself.
