It starts like an entirely ordinary evening in a supermarket. But soon it turns into a battle between the shoppers and intrusive groceries.
The groceries want to be bought so badly that they almost jump at the customers! The quiet aisles turn into an exciting maze. Behind the soft drinks, two eyes peer along with every step that is taken. The gentle hum of the refrigerators turns into a growl. And the question is: will everyone get out without injuries?
Totale Uitverkoop invites you into the madness of our deranged urge to buy. This absurd performance with little text, lots of slapstick and cinematic effects makes you shiver and laugh at the same time. Director Ramses Graus combines dance, theatre, film and puppetry in his youth performances. Together with a group of great actors, he created Totale Uitverkoop with his new Nijmegen‑based company De Horde.
