At Tweetakt we dance to a beautiful song by Stromae: L’enfer. So come to Fort Ruigenhoek and let yourself be carried along. Even if you have never danced before, and did not particularly plan to. It is a wonderful experience.

Dancer and choreographer Jotka Bauwens began her dance‑along projects at Theater aan Zee. There, every year, on the beach or on the dyke, she gets spectators and passers‑by dancing. She created the choreography to L’enfer in 2022 for this festival, which at the time had the theme ‘Do you see me?’ Bauwens invited everyone to move along, to show themselves and to see others, just as we are. She will do this again at Festival Tweetakt.

The Ghent‑based Jotka Bauwens studied contemporary dance at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. She is also a dance teacher and movement coach. In her (youth) performances she often works with non‑dancers, for example with bodybuilders or with her own mother.
